This blog covers the day to day progress of water rocket development by the Air Command Water Rockets team. It is also a facility for people to provide feedback and ask questions.
We had a great weekend this week attending the launch at Parraweena. The weather couldn't be more perfect with sunny conditions and almost no wind. There were a couple of minor dramas getting there, but definitely well worthwhile. We saw some great rockets go up and had a chance to test fly some of our rockets as well. I am in the process of writing up a trip report and will post it with pictures and video in the next few days.

I also flew my larger pyro rocket on a G64 which was a very nice flight. I mounted a camera inside to get a view of the area from the predicted 3000 or so feet. The flight was very good and managed to get reasonable video from it.

I’m writing this mail to let you know that I will have the honour to meet you in the APRSAF 17 held the 21st and 22nd of November in Melbourne, Australia. I’m completely sure you will be there and I would love to show you the progress the Colombian Rocketry has made and hopefully I could share the experiences in the development of this hobby.
The APRSAF 17 will pay for my travel air fare as well as the accommodation for my pupil and mine (I’m his tutor in the competition). At this point there is a possibility to ask the organization to delay the way back tickets for 3 or 4 days in order to go sightseeing around Australia and take the advantage to meet you in person. I have a friend who lives in Sydney; I can be in his place during the extra days so I would be able to be with you there (where I think you actually work).
I wonder if your group can send me an online invitation, asking the APRSAF organization for some more days in order to have a cultural and tech Rocketry exchange visit. I would really appreciate if you can help me to make my dream come true: to meet you!
